First Semester Drawing Class

These are drawings that I recovered from first semester class. The other projects have been taken away to a faraway land, and hopefully I will retrieve them soon. I'll post the gesture drawings when time allows me to.

Ellipse study. 18"x24".

One point perspective study of the Pratt Library including imaginary objects that are convincing in its environment. 18"x24".

Study of parallel perspective using toy trucks. First point of view. 18"x24".

A shift of point of view, using the same toy truck with two point perspective. Understanding perspective in geometric objects including circles, using ellipses. 18"x24".

The objective was to draw the model and its environment, using all the elements of what we learned from class. 28"x39".

I saw you'd commented on my friend Jessica Plummer's blog. I'm a junior at Pratt. Traditional animation. It's a great major. There are so many talented people. Everyone's all close and we are sillllyyy. Every year, the department seems to get better and better.

Seems like some really great classes, I'm really envious of this sort of thing. It might be a pain in the ass or boring at times, I know you probably want to do your thing and right away but this sort of thing really pays off - pay attention and be enthusiastic and you'll learn so much!

Man I sound like a guidance counselor :(

Harrrrrr~! Nice stuff ! :)

Awesome perspective pieces -- they're truly a treat to digest.

I look forward to more of your work!
